MUSICAL SOULPRINT
Musical Soulprint is a unique creation of an original musical composition in person (or online) associated exclusively with an individual. A rare experience of spontaneous music created in a person's presence –based upon their presence! The process is intriguing, the results magical.
​
Here's the way it works: Gary and the Soulprint Subject converse for a few minutes that help reveal musicalizable aspects of their style and persona. The process inspires a 2-3 minute instrumental piece spontaneously composed and performed on the spot!

PIANDEMONIUM
PIANDEMONIUM is a musical-comedy with book and score by Gary Pickus.

The show is about a journeyman songwriter/piano bar entertainer's eleventh-hour attempt to transform his career and love life on his final night of a house gig with a turbulent boss. Up against herculean odds he gets a surprise assist from an enchanted Glass Piano in his quest for a "liberation from incompleteness."

SOUNDS & VOICES ALONG THE
INTERNATIONAL SONGLINE
Sounds & Voices Along The International Songline is a concept introduced by Gary R. Pickus, M.S. IPCR, for his thesis at American University under the mentorship of legendary program founder and advisor Professor Abdul Aziz-Said.
​
The concept is a spinoff from the Australian Aboriginal custom of perceiving their homeland in terms of songllines that cris-cross their continent with melodies inspired by aligned spiritual forces. The 60-minute diverse musical compilationn features 27 peoples of 27 different regions of the world in a kaleidoscope of humanity longing for the same ray of light: a world of peace.
This work is a unifying representation of the needs, values, and feelings shared by all humankind. The underlying purpose of this project is to amplify the notion that the more we know about each other, the more likely we are to see people as mirrors of ourselves, the less likely we are to demonize fellow global citizens of other cultures.
